Symphony of the Americas opens its 34th season this coming October 5. After more than a season without symphonic music due to COVID 19, Mahler’s fourth symphony will be the protagonist of this return to the stage. Pablo Mielgo makes his debut as artistic director of the orchestra. As always the concert will take place at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. The soprano who will sing the last movement of Mahler’s symphony is the American Rebecca Nelsen.
