A summer filled with the finest art and music, featuring the Festival at Castell de Bellver, Festival Cap Rocat, Juan Diego Flórez, Sergey Dogadin, Tosca, Lise Davidsen and José María Colom.
Once again the Mediterranean becomes a privileged stage for symphonic music and opera. Under the baton of Pablo Mielgo, the Orquestra Simfònica de les Illes Balears leads a summer season designed to bring the great works of the repertoire to a wide audience, in some of Mallorca's most beautiful settings.
The Festival at Castell de Bellver will host memorable evenings, opening with violinist Sergey Dogadin performing Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto, alongside works by Brahms. Later, pianist Josep María Colom will tackle Mozart in a programme blending Classicism with the freshness of Smetana and the vibrant rhythms of Márquez.
The summer reaches one of its high points with Puccini's Tosca at Cap Rocat, in a production bringing together Lise Davidsen, Freddie De Tommaso and Ludovic Tézier — three of the most relevant voices on the international opera scene.
Magaluf and the Macià Batle vineyards complete a calendar that also features symphonic galas devoted to film music, designed to reach a broad audience and celebrate music as a shared meeting place.
