On September 30, 2019 at the Auditòrium de Palma, the Symphony Orchestra of the Balearic Islands celebrated its 30th anniversary with an extraordinary concert. The orchestra and mezzo-soprano Mª José Montiel performing works such as: Samson et Dalia, Camille bacchanal dance and Samson et Dalila “Mon coeur s’ouvre a ta voix” by Saint-Saens; Carmen “Près des remparts de Seville” (Seguidilla) by Georges Bizet; The iron ring, Prelude by Miquel Marquès; May and Song of grumet by Eduard Toldrà; The carnations “What do you mind that does not come” by José Serrano and Symphony no. 3 op 56 in the lower “Scottish” by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy. The concert was live recorded by IB3 and conducted by Pablo Mielgo.
